Can I bring in my own caterer?

Phil Stefani Restaurants is the exclusive caterer in The Crystal Gardens. If your event requires a specific type of food due to ethnic or religious purposes, please contact a Sales Manager for more information.

Can I have my wedding ceremony at the Crystal Gardens?

Yes. You can have your ceremony in The Crystal Gardens in conjunction with a reception. We don’t rent the space out for ceremonies without food and beverage. The ceremony fee is $10 per person with a $1500 minimum and includes chairs, set-up and breakdown, security and a sound system with two speakers and one standing microphone.

Do we provide weddings cakes?

No. You would provide your own wedding cake from a licensed bakery and there would be a $2 cake cutting fee per person.

How do I make a tentative hold on a date?

We are happy to place a courtesy hold on a date for up to a week. If another group requests the space during that time period, we will contact you and you will be given 48 hours to make your decision.

How far in advance can I book my event at the Crystal Gardens?

You can book your event one year out with some exceptions.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit is 25% of the food and beverage minimum and is due when your contract is issued.

Is parking included?

No. Valet parking & reserved parking are available upon request and subject to availability. Parking rates are determined by Navy Pier Parking and may change without notice. Please contact Navy Pier Parking at 312.595.5071.

Is there a rental fee?

There is no rental fee, just a food and beverage minimum.

What is a food and beverage minimum?

The food and beverage minimum is the minimum amount you need to spend before tax. All food and beverage minimums are seasonal and must be met to reserve the Crystal Gardens. Contact a Sales Manager to get a food and beverage minimum quote.

What is included?

For all private events we include tables, chairs, white linen, china, silver and glassware.

Will there be a tasting?

Yes. We host a tasting 3-4 months prior to your event.
